Hollywood Smile Transformation: Before and After Pictures

Updated: Sep 21

Why I Chose Ceramic Veneers

Having ceramic veneers was something on my list for a long time. My natural teeth are quite small and very sensitive to hot and cold drinks/foods.

In addition, in my teen years, I was wearing a smiley piercing which created abrasions on my front teeth, which I had to fill. There is a big downside of those fillings! Every time I would drink coloured drinks, such as coffee, red wine etc. it created discolouration that was very visible and I looked like I have something in my teeth.

As years passed by I just learned to roll with it and subconsciously I just stopped smiling all together, or if I would, I would put my hand in front to cover it.

Here’s my Hollywood smile transformation from stained to stunning...

Choose a Professional

I can't say this enough: Be careful who you choose to trust to do your veneers!!!

In this department I was so lucky. My ex classmate who is now a doctor recommended me my dentist. Make sure the dentist you choose specialises in reconstructive and aesthetic dental medicine. See the work he has done before.

With optimal care, veneers are something you can have for a lifetime!

That's why you need a professional with lots of experience.

My dentist is: Dr. Ivan Ćatović

The Process

The whole process, from the first inquiry email to completely finished ceramic veneers lasted for about 6 months. The process will be different for everyone. I, for example, had an additional surgery to remove my gummy smile. So the healing process lasted quite awhile before actually putting on my ceramic veneers. There were 7 appointments I went to, which I will explain in detail in my next BLOG.

There is a famous scene from The Wolf of Wall Street where Margot Robbie is drinking red wine through a straw. Dr. Nadine Macaluso (the real wife of the Wolf of Wall Street) said on one of her posts on Tik Tok how that specific scene is true because she didn't want to ruin her new veneers.

Even though my dentist assured me I can drink as much coffee and red wine as I want, I am still going to go by her example because I do want to have them for a lifetime.

I can boldly say having my veneers and my Hollywood smile is the best investment ever! Definitely a life changing experience.

Kisses!
